Because men are only slightly reformed chimpanzees, when they feel they have been wronged in some way they screech and display, beat the earth with sticks (golf), toss grass in the air (mowing), throw rocks around (bowling), then sulk in their lair (man-cave). Women, on the other hand, being more civilized, are inclined to wait until all the dust has settled and the situation has calmed down, then go key the rat-bastards's car. This is why in days of olde, men hacked at each other with swords and ladies preferred poison. I like your new personna, Bobby. Gotcha. To relieve personal stress when a problem arises, males, because they are essentially hunters, process the information in the context of what can be done as an immediate call to action. Females however, because of their more home-centered and family-oriented way of looking at life, are inclined to want to talk about the situation as their form of stress relief.
